Control Your Cloud

The phrase "cloud" can have a hazy connotation, basically, "someone else's computer". But for a longer explanation, it refers to a vast network of machines, each serving a specific purpose. The cloud is a massive global network of remote servers that are connected and designed to function as a single ecosystem, not a physical object.

The remote servers are made to either supply content or a service like streaming films, webmail, office productivity tools, or social media, or to store and manage data. They can also execute applications. You can access files and data online from any Internet-capable device rather than locally or through a personal computer, making the information accessible wherever you are and whenever you need it.

But are you sure it's safe?

Keeping data on a cloud could be risky unless it is end-to-end encrypted. Having end-to-end encryption means you and only you will have an access to the data you stored. Good thing, there are a lot of storage providers that help you control your data in the most literal and direct sense - instead of being lost in the cloud, your data is stored on a server that you control in your data center.

Try to keep your data safe from any prying eyes.
